Stella Barrett Andrews

Stella Mae Barrett Andrews was born on June 24, 1931 in Little Rock, Arkansas, she passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Annie Lee Barrett; brother, Jack E. Barrett; and husband, Gerald Andrews.

She is survived by her three children, John Barrett Andrews (Susan), Geri Lee Gibbs (Jackie) and Lindy Thompson; six grandchildren, Jeremy Andrews (Lindsay), Quin Showalter (Kirk), Jonie Tilton (Terry), Hunter Thompson (Taylor), Sam Thompson and Haley Summerhill (Hayden); and eight great-grandchildren.

Stella loved playing bridge with friends of 50 plus years. She enjoyed shopping with her daughters, sewing for grandchildren, eating out, and was an avid crossword puzzle worker. She loved spring flowers, decorating for holidays and had a quick wit and a good sense of humor. She loved watching Fox News and could update you often on current events.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. A private family graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery will be held at a later date.
