Stanley Roy Glass was born on December 7th, 1943 to Jessie Irene Honomichl and Woodrow Wilson Glass. He was called home by the Lord on January 19th, 2021 to be with his parents and all his loving siblings Ronald, Lester, Kenneth, Betty, and Vicki.
Stanley loved life and to play hard. He took pleasure in goofing off with his family and friends. He was never one to meet a stranger. He enjoyed everything outdoors including hunting and fishing, which was usually followed up with exciting stories of “the big one that got away.” Some of his favorite things were the lake, camping, swimming, and water skiing. He loved to sing, entertain, and play the guitar. He was a legend on the piano. He appreciated all sports especially football and basketball. He was a die-hard Arkansas Razorback fan. Stanley also loved God. He became a Deacon at his local church, the 47th Street Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
Stanley is survived by his wife Thelma J Glass and his three children Crystal Glass of Jacksonville, Beverly Glass of Cabot, and Frank Glass with his wife Jennifer Glass of Beebe. His grandchildren Nikki Turner with her husband Matt Turner, Ethan, Carly, and Liliana Zamora-Glass.
Pallbearers are Rusty Glass, Shawn Beard, Matt Turner, and Wendell Glass, and Pastor Ted Groves of 47th Street Baptist Church is officiating the service.
Visitation will be Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. January 22 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Graveside service is Saturday, 1:00 p.m. January 23 in Floyd Cemetery. Covid-19 mandates mask worn at all times; social distancing maintained.
