Stanley Stracener, 48, of Cabot passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022. He was born on June 13, 1974, to Vera Nell Webb Stracener and Marvin Edward Stracener of Floyd. Like his mother and grandfather before him, he dedicated his career to the United States Postal Service. At the time of his death, he was the postmaster in Lonoke.
A brother to two, father of three and friend to all, Stan spent his formative years outdoors hunting, camping, playing football or on anything with off-road tires. Stan was happiest spending time with his three kids, especially at the family farm, on the lake or on the trails. He was their provider, protector, teacher and champion. He loved them unconditionally and showed them what it looks like to put others before yourself.
He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Stracener, and nephew Seth Stracener of Kingsport, Tennessee.
He is survived by his mother, Nell Stracener of Floyd; his three children, whom he loved dearly, Baylee (Hunter) Field of Austin, Cole (Mary Sue) Stracener of Floyd and Brooklyn Stracener of Conway; two brothers, Steve (Sheree) Stracener of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Scott (Mary Ann Davis) Stracener of Floyd; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other treasured family members.
Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Services are Wednesday, October 19th at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Cabot at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Romance Cemetery.
