Stanley Haight

Stanley H. Haight, of Casa, Arkansas, died June 13, 2007 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Florence Haight; brothers, Rev. Kenmore Haight and Webster Haight, and sister, Avis Parsons.
He was born October 8, 1918 in North Sanford, New York, the son of Erving Wedge and Mercy Louise (Haskins) Haight. He graduated from Binghamton Central High School and completed one year of college before entering the U. S. Navy. He began Stan Haight Insurance Agency in Phoenix, Arizona in 1970 and retired in 1988. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his great love for his family. His hobbies included golf, cooking and watching sports.
Mr. Haight is survived by five daughters, Sharon LaFave, Nancy Pornbeck (Paul), Linda Woods (Gary), Nora Rolen (Frank) and Lori Stufflebeam (Mike); fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his companion of fifteen years, Helen Burrows; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
A Memorial Service will be held in Phoenix, Arizona at a later date. Donations may be made in Stanley's memory to Hospice Home Care, Little Rock Inpatient, 2200 S. Bowman Rd., Little Rock, AR 72211.
