Stacy McCumpsey

Stacy McCumpsey, 47, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away February 14, 2022.   She was born May 7, 1974 in Little Rock to William “Jerrell” and Joyce (Crutchfield) McCumpsey.

Stacy was of the Baptist faith.  Her family was the most important part of Stacy’s life.  She always cared for her children and gave them everything she could.  Stacy enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, and often took her youngest son Reese with her.  Christmas was her favorite time of year and would make beautiful wreaths and ornaments for her family.  Stacy loved children and taught in elementary schools for many years.

Preceding Stacy in death are her paternal grandparents, William and Jeanett McCumpsey; and maternal grandparents, Cecil and Fannie Crutchfield.

Stacy leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons:  Chase Sheeks and Reese Ashley of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughter, Bailey Sheeks of Conway, Arkansas; grandchildren:  Hunter Sheeks, Hadlee Sheeks, Huck Sheeks, and one grandson on the way; parents, William “Jerrell” and Joyce McCumpsey of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother, Sonny McCumpsey of Little Rock, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who love Stacy and will miss her always.

Visitation held 10:00-11:00 AM, Monday, February 21, 2022 followed by funeral service, officiated by Bro. Rick Jaggers, at 11:00 AM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
