Stacy Adams

Stacy Lee Adams heard Jesus call his name and he went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 22, 2016 as the heavens rejoiced and the angels sang.
Stacy was born on July 29, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his adoring wife of over 36 years, Lula Wynelle (Nell); his father, Walter A. Adams; his mother, Clara M. Adams; sisters, Dorothy Brown, Marie Clark and Carolyn Hudson; brothers, Benny and Dean Adams and granddaughter, Detra Mann. He is survived by his daughters, Angela Kezele (Sam), Ginny Morrison (Katz), Kay Plouch (Buster) and Debbie Hanson; sons, Stacy Adams, Jr. (Kathy), Rick Carmichael (Sara) and Sonny Hanson; sister, Sue Murdock (Jim); two brothers, Jim Adams and William Adams (Iva Jo). Stacy was the grandfather of 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Stacy was also blessed with many great friends and an abundance of beloved family who have been ever present in love and prayer during our time of need.
He was a member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church. He loved the Lord with all his heart and never missed an opportunity to witness and tell others about the love of his life, Jesus.
Stacy served in the Marines as a Buck Sergeant during the Korean War. He loved the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. He was especially proud of his muscadine vineyard, his garden and his flower beds.
A special thanks to those who loved our dad and helped us to care for him during this time of great difficulty. You have been such a blessing to us.
