Stacey Suzanne Nevener, 64, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at her home after a brief illness. She was born March 3, 1948 in Leesville, Louisiana, the daughter of Mary Kathryn and George Martin. She was a retired medical transcriptionist. Suzanne was a creative woman with a beautiful voice. She was artistically talented and enjoyed ceramics and writing poetry. She had a good eye for decorating and loved gardening. She was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church.
Cherishing her memory are her children, Eric Townsend (Lori) of Little Rock, Jason Townsend (Amy) and her grandsons, Andrew and Joey, of Manitowac, Wisconsin and Laura Townsend of North Little Rock. She is also survived by her parents of Little Rock and her two sisters, Mona Elliott (Don) of Fayetteville and Vicki Burnett (Terry) of Little Rock. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and abundance of friends.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Burial will be private. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
