Spencer O. "Sonny" Sisson, Jr., 70, of Sherwood, AR passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was born in Ft. Bragg, NC on August 26, 1945 to Spencer O. Sisson, Sr., and Lucille (Garrett) Sisson. He attended Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church. He was a food broker and a merchandiser in the food service business for over thirty years and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a graduate of North Little Rock High School Class of 1963.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Carol Jo Sisson; children, Stacey Sisson Arnold of Lancaster, KY and Blake Anthony Sisson (Stephanie Elsby) of Haskel, AR; four grandchildren, Anastasia Wilson, Herbert) of Grovetown, GA., Trevor James Arnold of Lancaster, KY, Alexis Lea Sisson of Conway, AR and Sydney Paige Arnold of Lancaster, KY; two great-grandchildren, Bradley Michael Wilson of Spring Hill, FL and Tanner Van Wilson of Grovetown, GA; and sister, Freda Welter of Morrilton, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael David Sisson and great-granddaughter, Addison Paige Arnold.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16th at Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church with Reverend Brittany Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Plummerville. Visitation will be held prior to services starting at 10:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Ave, Little Rock, AR 72207.
