Sonya Elaine Edwards-Ross

Sonya Elaine Edwards-Ross, age 54, of Bonnerdale passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

She was born on May 6, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Wilburn Lee Edwards and Mary Jennette Cobb Edwards. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Debra Black; and her niece, Cynthia Rodriguez.

Sonya was certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed camping, singing, dancing and being outdoors. She adored the time she spent with family and friends and loved her children more than life.

She is survived by her husband, John “Ed” Ross of Bonnerdale; two sons, Johny Berumen and his wife, Lynette, of Tehachapi, California and David Allen Kuntz of Soledad, California; two daughters, Jerrica Wellborn of Nashville, Tennessee and Krystal Ross of Tehachapi, California; two grandchildren, Jonathan Berumen and Daniel Berumen; three sisters, Teresa Judd and Terri Edwards, both of Bakersfield, California, and Cynthia Guerrero of Clarksville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.
