Sidney Bessent
Sidney DeBarry Bessent, age 81 of Alexander, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 28, 2015 at Saline Memorial Hospice. He was born February 18, 1934 in Belle Glade, Florida; and he was the son of Lawrence Dow Bessent and Ellen Bea Dur.
Mr. Bessent was a retired truck driver.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Ellen Bessent.
Survivors include his wife Mary Bessent; daughter Susan Waite and husband Nathan; a son Lawrence Bessent; daughter Sheila Caviness and husband Sammy; a son Tony Bessent and wife Joni; seven grandchildren, Christopher and Cody Drye, Tyler and Jaci Bessent, Colton Caviness and Sydney and Taylor Bessent; and one great-grandchild Hayley Drye.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., October 3, 2015 at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home at 6400 Mabelvale Pike (one block west of 65th Street and University Ave.) , Little Rock, Arkansas 72209.
