Shirley Wood, 74 of North Little Rock, passed away on May 1, 2014 in North Little Rock. She was born on December 24, 1939 in Little Rock, and she was the daughter Charlsie and Thomas Wakefield.
She enjoyed reading, going to casinos and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arland and Charles Wakefield and her mother and father.
Survivors include her children Kathy Wages of Maumelle, Karen and David Mullinax of Benton, Rod and Marty Borges of North Little Rock, Randy and Tami Wood of Ferndale, 7 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2014 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood with burial following at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
