Shirley Stewart, 77, of Roland, Arkansas passed away on March 4, 2024.She was born on June 10, 1946 to Loyd and Annie Langley.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: and one son, Mikey.
Shirley is survived by her husband of sixty years, Doyle Gene Stewart; son, Doyle Allen Stewart (Shannon); grandchildren Lauran (Brent Burroughs), Dalton Stewart (Hope); three great-grandchildren, Theseus Stewart, Adelaide and Cassidy Burroughs; siblings, Dannie Langley, Diane (Gordon Franks), Linda Langley, Angela (Terrell Coleman); and several extended family members.
She was a member of Little Rock West Assembly of God for over fifty years. She was well known for being a prayer warrior who received many calls to pray for friends and loved ones. Her main joy in life was her family, caring for each member like they were her top priority. She made everyone feel so special. She became a grandmother and her name changed to Mamaw, and thats what she was known as ever since. She was the best Mamaw they could ever ask for. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, she was known for her chocolate chip cookies, pecan pies, and tunnel of fudge cakes.
She was a good Mom, Mamaw, Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Friend.
Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, March 8 at Little Rock West Assembly of God, 16403 Lamarche Dr.. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 AM at May Cemetery in Houston, Arkansas.
