Shirley Ann Phillips, 85, of Traskwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord May 22, 2019. She was born July 10, 1933 in Ira Ann, Texas to the late M.P. and Ora T. (Brookshier) Graves.
Shirley loved the Lord and was a member of Glen Rose Assembly of God. Her greatest joys were taking care of her family and her daily trips to the Hilltop Grocery Store in Haskell to drink coffee with her friends.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Ottie Preston Phillips of Traskwood, Arkansas; two sons: Bryan Preston Phillips and wife Patricia of Livingston, Texas and James Marion Phillips and wife Cheryl of Benton, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Megan Phillips, Zackry Phillips, Emily Phillips, Rylee Phillips, and Maggie Phillips; great-grandson, Cooper Hostetler; two brothers: Dewaine Graves of Kerrville, Texas and Michael Lynn Graves of Houston, Texas; and many family members and friends who love Shirley and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 28, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Gerald Williams, will be held at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, May 29 at the funeral home. Burial following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hot Springs.
