Shirley Evans

Shirley Evans, 70, of Bryant, Arkansas was born November 21, 1943. After a long battle with cancer that had metastasized in the bones early on, she went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2014. She is in no more pain.
Shirley loved to do arts, crafts, and pottery and was schooled in photography. Some of her photos have been used in brochures for organizations and she especially loved photographing American Indian people.
She was preceded in death by her daddy, Austin Evans, brother, Alton Sonny Evans, and grandparents on both sides of the family.
Shirley is survived by one son, Victor Araiza, his wife Imelda and two beautiful grandchildren, Abbie and Immannuel Araiza of El Paso, Texas. She is also survived by her mother, Pearlee Evans of Beebe; three sisters, Opal Muncy of Aurora, Colorado, Joyce Raleigh of Little Rock, Sharon Zardo of Beebe; one brother, Harold Evans of Beebe, and their families; her uncle Wayne Horton of Beebe; and many other cousins, uncles and aunts too numerous to mention.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
