Shirley Mae Brashers Eddy, 73, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010. She was born March 23, 1937 in England, Arkansas to the late David Eli and Margrett Corbit Brashers. She was a member of Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry Ray Eddy, Ricky S. Eddy, both of Hensley and Robert K. Eddy, of Little Rock; daughters, June D. Wood, of Rosebud and Beverley C. Wood, of Jacksonville; sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruthel Corbit and Betty Bowman, both of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her son, Teddy; one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday in North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
