Shirley Atwood, age 71 of Jacksonville, passed away January 23, 2016 at North Metro Medical Center. She was born July 29, 1944 in Chickamauga, Georgia, to Ellen and Ben Williams. She enjoyed helping others.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Atwood; seven children; eleven grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2016 at Life Tabernacle in Jacksonville.
