Shirley Ann Perkins Adams, 83, of Scott, died on October 18, 2019 in North Little Rock. She was born on May 28, 1936 to James C. Wilkerson and Phyllis Goodman Wilkerson. Shirley attended the Church at Willow Beach and was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mary Williams Lodge.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Cecil Wayne Perkins and Herbert Ray Adams, her daughter, Connie Kathleen Perkins, her brothers, Carroll Wilkerson and James C. Wilkerson, Jr., and her sisters, Louise Nix and Connie Thornton.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis Wayne Perkins of San Luis Obispo, California and Steven Wayne Perkins and wife, Beth, of Monticello; her granddaughters, Allie Perkins and Aubrey Perkins, both of Monticello; her sister, Peggy Lynn Dixon; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will welcome relatives and friends beginning at 12:00 noon until the service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Rev. Roy Tilley will officiate. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
