Sherrill “Kay” Miller, age 64, of Hot Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

 

She was born on November 14, 1958, in De Queen, the daughter of Jesse James McClure and Ollie Mae Runnels McClure.  She was preceded in death by two husbands, Hugh Roy Seaton, who passed in 2006 and Michael Miller, who passed in 2018; her parents; her brother, Allen Tosh; one great-granddaughter, Adalyn Partain; and son-in-law, Allen Ray Matthews.

 

Kay was a Christian and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.  She was a very outgoing person, making friend everywhere.  She loved being in the outdoors, fishing and camping and especially enjoyed her time spent with her sisters.  She loved her family dearly and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of her eye.  She will greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

 

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Lance Graves and Pamela and Seth Graves; four grandchildren, Sierra Minton, Lane Minton, Hunter Minton and Trinity Matthews; three great-grandchildren, Kynsley Grace Partain, Kyrie Marie Partain and Lukas Allen Minton; three sisters, Carol Treece of Pearcy, Brenda Ward of Murfreesboro and Kathy Stubbs of Ardmore, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, June 29, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with visitation at 10:00AM until 11:00AM, prior to the service.

 

Interment will be in the Ten Mile Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers are Sevan Partain, Lane Minton, Hunter Minton, James Stubbs, Jacob Stubbs and Kelly Tadlock.

 

Honorary Pallbearers are Tim Stubbs, Dr. Jeffrey Tauth and Dr. Brian Simms.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
