Sherri Sullivan

On June 15, 1961, Gerald and Linda Smith blessed the world with their daughter, Sherri Linda Sullivan. She grew up with her loving sister Sharon Gaines, where they spent their childhood years in Richardson, Texas. Then as teenagers, they moved to Benton, Arkansas. At age 19, she married the love of her life and best friend, C.Y. Sullivan. Together they created three beautiful children, Erron McCormack, Brooks Sullivan, and April Sullivan, who she considered to be her greatest gifts. Her oldest, Erron, married Corey McCormack and her gifts grew as they gave her three precious grandchildren; Jaycee, Jacon, and Aulene McCormack. She became Gram Ma and always had a surprise for her grandchildren whenever she would see them. She was such a giving person. Throughout her life she gained a big family that filled her heart with love and joy. Her family included, grandparents, mother and father in-laws, brother and sister in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She thought of them often. In her spare time, Sherri enjoyed hunting, fishing, and thrift shopping with her husband. She was also an amazing artist with a wild imagination. She loved cooking for her family and creating her own personal recipes. She was a kid who never grew up inside and loved everyone she met. She was many things in life, but most of all, she was a loving mother and wife. On Tuesday, November 28th, at the age of 56, after a seven- year struggle in health, she left this world behind but leaves her memory in all the hearts she loved. A visitation is scheduled at 1:00pm and the memorial service to begin at 2:00pm on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas.
