Sherri Bain

Sherri Lynn Bain of Benton, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Thursday, December 10, 2020.

Sherri was a giving and compassionate person who loved her family dearly. She loved animals and devoted most of her time taking care of the house and yard she was so proud of. Sherri loved to sit on her deck in the sunlight that filtered through the leaves of the oak trees. She could be found there most mornings with her coffee, or with a glass of wine in the evenings after a day’s work in her yard. The fallen leaves that filled up her yard were her nemeses and she fought them to the last.

Like most Arkansans, she loved the Razorbacks. Every game day she wore her lucky Razorback earrings to aid the team toward victory.

She is survived by her son, Grant Bain and his wife Sally Edwards, now of Fort Collins, CO; a niece, Laura Dixon, and her husband Rick; and two nephews: Lonnie Cox, and his wife Annette; and Trey Bryan, his wife Tanua, and their children McKenzie, Mason, and Macy.

In accordance with Sherri’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her name to the Humane Society of Saline County.

Arrangements entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.  Online guestbook:  www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
