Sherman Danny "Dan" Vines Jr., 61 of Hensley passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010, in Little Rock, he was born on August 31, 1948 in Mt. Ida, Arkansas; he was the son of Sherman Dood Vines and Lucille Wehunt Vines.
Dan was a retired Salesman in the Construction Equipment Industry, who was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, who enjoyed Astronomy and loved model building.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Vines of Hensley; a son and daughter -in- law Dan and Ellen Vines of Peachtree City, Georgia; two grandchildren Emma Vines and Leo Vines; and two sisters Lynda Lamberson of Russellville and Nancy Ashley of Little Rock.
Funeral services wiil be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock with Dennis Gulledge officiating, burial will follow in the Landmark Cemetery in Pulaski County.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 31, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
