Sherman Polk
On December 11, 2015, Earl Polk, age 72, stepped from time to eternity. He was preceded in death by his father Maynard Polk and his mother Becky Masters-Polk, two brothers, Wayne and Kenneth Polk.
He is survived by his sister Nita Gough (John), his wife Shirley LaVonne Polk; four children, Kristi Beck (Eric), Alan Polk(Dani), Sherri Waggoner (Terry), and Jennifer Shirley; eleven grandchildren, Tiffany Glidden (Chris), Erica Beck, Sydnie Beck, Jacob Aloi, Kyle Aloi, Marianna Polk, Anthony Aloi, Christopher Polk, Chloe Aloi, Allie Butler, and Logan Polk; five great-grandchildren, Cecilia Polk, Cayden Bacon, Cooper Glidden, Sebastian Jones, and Arya Glidden. He is also survived by numerous brothers -in-law, sisters -in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, church family and friends.
He never met a stranger and he was loved by all that knew him.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Life Tabernacle at 23903 Highway 107; Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076, with burial following at Stanfill Cemetery in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home at 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
