Sheri Renee Rich

Sheri Renee Rich, known for her free spirit and fun-loving nature, passed away on September 11, 2023. Born on August 23, 1965, in Newport, AR, Sheri brought laughter and joy to everyone she encountered throughout her life.

Sheri's vibrant personality was evident in everything she did. She was a very colorful spirit who embraced life with an adventurous and spontaneous approach. Her infectious laughter brightened even the dullest of days, leaving lasting memories for all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sheri's positive outlook on life was truly inspiring and served as a reminder to cherish every moment.

Although Sheri attended cosmetology school, she became a Real Estate Agent, but her proudest accomplishments revolved around her family. She was a devoted wife to Jay for 32 years and a loving mother to their son, Tanner. Sheri's dedication and love for her family knew no bounds, and they were always at the forefront of everything she did.

In her free time, Sheri loved visiting the beach and spending serene moments at Lake Ouachita. She had an eye for fashion and enjoyed shopping at boutiques in Hot Springs. Animals held a special place in Sheri's heart, and she found immense joy in their company.

Sheri leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten. She is survived by her husband, Jay; their son, Tanner; her mother, Marie; her brother, Tim (Anita); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jackie and Karen Rich; brother-in-law, Brian Rich (Tracie); sister-in-law, Brooke Cornett (Justin); nephews, Wade Hall (Saundra), Kruse, Brody, and Cale; nieces, Whitney Thornton (Tyler) and Blakelee Tinkler (Dustin); as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, Harper, Hendrix, Arlee, Lennon, Waylon, Tripp, and Morrison. Sheri also had many other close family members and friends who will miss her dearly as well as a dozen and a half "B-Team" sons. Her warm and caring nature touched the lives of so many.

A visitation to honor Sheri's life will take place on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St. Benton, AR. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the same location. Sheri will be laid to rest following the service at 2:30 PM at Pipkin Cemetery, 1154 Raney Rd, Benton, AR.

Sheri's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate her remarkable life and the lasting impact she had on everyone she encountered. May her vibrant spirit and zest for life continue to inspire us all.
