Shelia Denise White

Shelia Denise White, aged 63, of Hot Springs, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

She was born on September 4, 1958, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Martin Miller White and Barbara Evelyn Hammock White.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Shelia was a Christian in her faith and loved the Lord with all her heart.  She loved reading her bible and conversing with the Lord in prayer.  She enjoyed learning and had even gone back to school to learn how to do coding.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and thoroughly enjoyed her grandson’s touch. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, David White; her grandson, Samuel White; her mother, Barbara White, her stepmother, Suzette White; two brothers and spouse, Martin White and Rhonda Porter and Taylor White; two aunts; Sharon (Terry) Penn and Doris Phillips; one uncle, Randy (Deb) Hammock; her special friend, Cynthia Davis; many extended family members and many good friends.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in the Philippi Cemetery, Point Cedar.

Visitation will be 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday evening in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers are Randy Hammock, Miguel Phillips, Aiden Covey, Terry Penn, David White, Jeremy Hammock and Daniel Hammock.

Honorary pallbearer is Dr. John Scott Erwin.
