Shelby Leigh Armstrong, 16, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007. She was in the 11th grade at North Little Rock High School ? West Campus, she was on the Lakewood Swim Team for six years and more than once she was the winner at the Meet of Champs. As a child she played softball as catcher and was named Most Valuable Player. Shelby was bright, energetic, spirited, fun, loved dressing funky and dreamed of modeling ? she is now ?modeling in Heaven?.
She is survived by her mother, Wendy Armstrong; her grandfather, Armie Armstrong, both of North Little Rock; grandmother, Cynthia Hutchcroft of Rockledge, Florida; an uncle, Brian Armstrong of North Little Rock; a cousin, Robert Winterstein of Fayetteville; her second family, Mr. C. and Maria Carpenter, and best friends, Alex Carpenter, Matt Berch, Kristen Nelms, Ian Williford, Mark Monroe, Ben Stamp, Zackary Picareilo, William White, Fred Zakrzewski, Whindham, Reno, and China.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cameron Cobb.
