Sheila Childress

Sheila Childress, age 66, of Glenwood, died Monday, August 20, 2012. She was born on August 10, 1946 in Hot Springs, the daughter of U. L. Arivett and Mildred Jones Arivett. On August 14, 1965, she was married to Ferrell Childress. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sheila was a member of the Glenwood Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Ferrell Childress of Glenwood; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Dewey Small of Jacksonville, Florida; her brother-in-law, Bill Freeman of Bismarck; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 23, 2012 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with E. J. Johnson and Doyle Shields officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doyle Shields, Jim Hicks, Danny Plyler, Fenton Looper, Alton Tolleson, Rex Tolleson and Chuck Golden. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
