Sharon Kathleen Weinsinger

    Sharon Kathleen Weinsinger, 79, of Maumelle left this world and walked into the arms of Jesus on the morning of Saturday, April 27, 2024. She was born in Paris, AR on December 6, 1944, to Edward and Mary Jane Neumeier who were tragically killed in an automobile accident on March 27th, 1963, when she was only 18 years old. 

    She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Little Rock, and former long-term member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Van Buren. She was a member of two different Quilting Guilds in Little Rock and was actively involved in them both. Sharon retired in 2014 from Weldon Williams and Lick. She lived most of her pre-retirement life in Van Buren working hard and raising her 3 children and after retirement, made the move to Little Rock. 

   Sharon preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Jane Neumeier, her brothers Nick Neumeier and Butch Neumeier, her husband Joe H. Weinsinger Jr. and her in-laws Joe H. Weinsinger Sr. and Earleen. Sharon is survived by her brothers Bob Neumeier and Vincent Neumeier as well as her daughter, Marijane Pfeiffer (Keith); sons, Joe Weinsinger (Laura) and Phillip Weinsinger (Shane); grandchildren, Shelby Pfeiffer, Lindsey Dail (Matthew), Bailey Weinsinger, Joseph Weinsinger, Derek Weinsinger, Karen Weinsinger, Jeff Auterson, Jason Johnson, James Auterson, Emma Jo Morris and Ethan Pulis; and 16 great-grandchildren.

   A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 2:00PM at Christ the King Catholic Church, Little Rock followed by a brief gathering in the lobby.

   A hometown Funeral Mass will also be held Saturday at 12:30 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Van Buren followed by a graveside at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR. Afterwards there will be a gathering of family and friends at St. Michael Catholic Church in Van Buren.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Christ the King Catholic Church, Little Rock and St. Michael Catholic Church, Van Buren
