Sharon Kay Burnett Strayhorn went to her eternal home on February 13, 2023. She was born August 7, 1946, to John William Burnett and Frances Lorene Parks.
She married Bobby Lee Strayhorn September 14, 1963. Sharon helped build the family cattle farm and retired from Simmons Bank. She loved and adored her grandkids and great grandkids and loved spending time with the “Girls of 64” and her lifelong friends from Walmart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-nine years, Bobby Lee; brother, Thomas Jerral Burnett; sister, Dorothy Mae Burnett Davis Mundy and beloved dog Molly.
Sharon is survived by her sons, David (Tanya) Strayhorn of Beebe, Steven (Stacey) Strayhorn of McRae; daughter, Angela (Clay) Goff; sister, Wanda Ewing of Wheatridge, Colorado; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to thank Sandra Brown and Peggy Duncan for their excellent care and support of our mother in the past few months.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 18th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. A Private Graveside service will follow at Weir Cemetery.
