Sharon Kay Parks, 62, of Hot Springs, passed away May 8, 2014. Born in El Dorado to Wayne M. and Gene Davis Parks, she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Smackover. She was an elementary school librarian who had a passion for books.
Preceded in death by her father, she is survived by her mother, Gene Parks of Hot Springs; sisters, Joleen Braswell (Randy) of Hot Springs and Vicky Parks of Benton; niece, Laura Braswell (fiancé, Matt Pumphrey and his children, Emma and Asa), all of Bryant; and nephew, Russell Braswell of Hot Springs.
A Service will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Smackover, officiated by Rev. Leon Dixon. Memorials may be made to the Church.
