Sharon Sue Cowan, 71, of Jacksonville died February 3, 2015 at North Metro Hospital. She was a long time member of the Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon William and Lillie Ernestine Anderson Cowan; brothers, James G. and Dennis A. Cowan; sisters, Mary Waterman, Geri Southard, Carol and Betty Cowan; and a brother and sister that died at birth.
Sharon is survived by three sisters, Beulah E. Phelps, Donna Maynard and Connis Osborne; brother, Tim Cowan; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marshall Road Baptist Church, 821 Marshall Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076
A memorial service will be held at Arkana Community Building (near Mountain Home) at a date to be announced. Interment of ashes will take place at the Arkana Community Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
