Sharlene Harvey age 84 of Arkadelphia departed this life Thursday, November 4, 2015. She was born May 1, 1931 the daughter of John and Odessa Corbin Hays. She was a retired social worker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Caddo Valley. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dolores "Dee" Harvey and two brothers, Calvin Smith and Tim Harper Jr.
She is survived by one son, Kelvin Harvey of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Sheron Hughes of Little Rock, three grandchildren, Lisa Shalene Clay, Nicole Talia Saltzman and Jacqulyn H. Hughes, three great grandsons, Alexander and Tristan Saltzman and Dylan Hughes, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 11th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Eddie Taylor and Joe Jones officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
