Sewel Edward Daniell, 95, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023.
He was born October 18, 1928, in Clark County, Arkansas, to Clarence and Alice Evans Daniell. He was a member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church, and he worked as a farmer.
Sewell was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Nettie Blanche Huneycutt Daniell, one brother, one sister and two grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Patsy McKim Daniell; three sons: Herbie (Judy) Daniell of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Ron Daniell of Arkadelphia and Keith (Gina) Daniell of Arkadelphia; two daughters: Diane (Tommy Arnold of Arkadelphia and Kathy Allen of Hot Springs; three step-sons: Doug (Karen) McKim of Sheridan, Richard McKim of Friendship, Arkansas and Paul McKim of Fort Smith, Arkansas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, great great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Brother Travis Langley and Brother Frank Buttrey.
Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery near Dalark.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to Arkansas Hospice and Nightingale Nursing Home of Arkadelphia.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Sanders, Jason Daniell, Craig Daniell, Justin Daniell, Bart Daniell and David Long.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Wilson and Chris Yarbrough.
