Selina Hernandez

Selina Martha (Nieves) Hernandez, age 49, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 22, 1974.  Selina is survived by her two daughters, Cianna Hernandez, Destiny Hernandez; Son, Joshua Hernandez; Grand-daughters, Xiomara and Xela Startz; Grandsons, Ramaj and Jaice Conner: Two sisters and two brothers, several nieces, nephews, relatives and, many friends.  Selina is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Junior Hernandez; Daughter, Stephanie Amaris Hernandez and brother, Jose Martin Nieves. 

Selina’s zest for life was amazing.  She always had a smile and such a positive attitude and outlook on life.  She never let anything or anyone get her down.  Even in her darkest days, did Selina continue to stay optimistic and continued to laugh and smile.  Selina enjoyed spending most of her time with her grandkids. She loved being outdoors and making new friends.  Selina welcomed everyone into her life and made a connection in some way or another which made a lasting mark on many.  Selina’s favorite passion was singing and she did this so well with her beautiful voice.  Wherever there was Karaoke, you better believe Selina was there to sing her life away with many genres of music.  If it sounded good, she was going to sing it and all was welcome to join in and sing with her. 

Selina’s final wish was to play music and in her own words, “Everyone dancing to my final spot.” She does not want anyone to be sad or angry but happy. 

Selina will be greatly missed here on earth.  However, her calling was to be reunited with her husband, Robert and daughter, Stephanie.  But, most importantly, her calling was to be with God, as he needed her to be by his side watching over her family and friends.
