Scott Vaughn

Scott Thomas Vaughn, 65, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017. He was born June 13, 1951 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Sid and Dorothy Eller Vaughn.
He was a graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law and practiced law for over 40 years, primarily at the Hilburn Law Firm in North Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 30 years, Janice Vaughn; brother, Sid Vaughn (Wendy) of Virginia; niece, Kristen Olson (Will) of New York; great niece, Evie Olson; and his dogs, Sophie and Chewy. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his much loved daughter, Emily Ann Vaughn.
Scott was a man of great integrity, strength and goodness who brought joy and laughter to all who met him. Even those who did not know him were often recipients of his unsolicited acts of kindness.
Memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society or Arkansas Childrens Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
