Sarah Scales

Sarah Naomi Scales, 91, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away August 9, 2014, in Beebe. She was born June 22, 1923 in Liberty, Tennessee to Joseph and Thirzie Rich. On September 27, 1946 she married Thomas Scales and to this union was born three children. She was a strong Christian who lived her life caring for her family and others. She is survived by daughters Carolyn Beasley of Robbins, Tennessee, Rita Scales of Norcross, Georgia; daughter-in-law Cynthia Scales of Beebe, Arkansas; along with seven grandchildren, Nathan (Beth) Scales, Aaron (Amy) Scales, Dean Swart, LeAnn (Mickel) Reemer, Alice Page, Holly Beasley and Scott Beasley; and four great-grandchildren, Luke and Ethan Scales, Emma Scales and Abigail Page. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Scales, son Henry Scales, three sisters, and one brother. She was a member of the Beebe First Baptist Church and a former member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Antioch, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, with interment to follow at Nolensville Cemetery in Nolensville, Tennessee.
