Sarah Hattlestad

Sarah Louise Hattlestad, 94, a long-time resident of North Little Rock and the widow of Maynard J. Hattlestad died on Sunday, January 16, 2011. She was born Sarah Louise Peeples on February 1, 1916 in Paducah, Kentucky and moved to North Little Rock at a very early age. She attended public schools in North Little Rock and attended Faith Baptist Church. She was employed in secretarial and accounting positions with Myer Brothers Drug, Gibson's Discount Stores and the North Little Rock School system.
Mrs. Hattlestad is survived by a great nephew, Todd Harrison Rider of Littleton, Massachusetts and his wife Lori and their two children, Benjamin and Sarah (named in honor of Aunt Louise).
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
