Sarah Elizabeth Adderholt

Sarah Elizabeth Adderholt, age 84, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

She was born on May 5, 1939, in Springville, Mississippi, the daughter of Thurman Leland McGregor and Esta Omelia Franklin McGregor.  On December 10, 1961, she married the love of her life, Larry Adderholt.  She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Randall Adderholt; and one brother, Dexter McGregor.

She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.  Sarah worked for 24 years for the Department of Human Services as a secretary.  She played the piano in church and thoroughly enjoyed the gospel hymns.  She loved working with patterns while piecing quilt tops together and quilting them, she could make anything with a sewing machine.  Also, she enjoyed traveling to see new places.  Sarah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Sarah is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Andi Adderholt; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Paul Coy and Tami and James Kendall; eight grandchildren, Riley, Hannah, Harry, Dani, Matthew, Joseph, Gabe, and Kitty-Mae; four great-grandchildren, Paxton, Rynwood, Viridian and Kash; one brother, Ricky McGregor; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

The celebration of Sarah's life will be 10:00AM, Friday, September 1, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation 9:00AM-10:00AM, prior to the service.

Pallbearers are John Adderholt, Dr. Matthew Pultz, Joseph Pultz, Gabe Adderholt, James Kendall, Paul Coy, Walker Murray, and Brett Pultz.

Honorary pallbearer is Riley Murray.
