Sandra "Sandy" Oneal

Sandra “Sandy” Jean Oneal, 61, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with her Lord November 1, 2019.  She was born  May 13, 1958 in Little Rock to the late Thurman and Icie (Ashcraft) Hubbard.

Sandy was a loving wife, amazing mother, and beloved Mimi to her grandchildren.  She had a passion for her family and God.  Sandy’s home was always open to all.  She never met a stranger and greeted everyone she met with a warm smile and friendly hug. Her laugh was contagious and she had a wonderful sense of humor.  Sandy accepted everyone and loved unconditionally. She was easy to love, because she loved everyone so easily. Sandy was a dependable and supportive sister who made a point to talk to her siblings daily.  She lived and loved life to the fullest.  Sandy was the toughest person her family ever met.  She never complained even in the most difficult times. She found the good in any situation.   Sandy was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed camping and fishing-even during the worst of storms.  She was a member of New Life Church of Greater Little Rock and took her grandchildren to church every time she went.  Sandy was a customer service representative at 3M and loved her work family.  She was the “glue” that beautifully held her blended family together.

Preceding Sandy in death are her son, Chris Oneal; sister, Susan Milner, and her parents.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of seventeen years, Greg Oneal of North Little Rock, Arkansas; children:  Nick McClane and wife Veronica of Little Rock, Shaun Oneal and wife Shae of North Little Rock, Shynia Oneal and boyfriend Chase Valenzuela of North Little Rock, and Ashley Chance of Little Rock; grandchildren:  Mac McClane, Beckett McClane, Evelyn Oneal, and Connor Oneal; brothers:  Raymond Johnson and wife JoAnna of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Doyle Hubbard and wife Marti of Little Rock; niece, Cristy Smith and husband Jason of Hensley, Arkansas; great-nephew,  Jacob Smith; and many family members and friends who love Sandy and will miss her always.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, from 5:30-7:30 PM, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Funeral service, officiated by Pastor Harry Bates, will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 6 at New Life Church of Greater Little Rock, Student Building, 8000 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas.  Burial following at Riverwood Memorial Gardens.
