Sandra Washburn
Sandra Kay Washburn, 57, of Little Rock, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 23, 2008. She was born May 9, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of David B. and Melba Fae Embry Conway.
She is survived by her husband, Terry; her daughter, Trisha Kirpal Sterk and husband, Dan of Dallas, Texas; her parents, David and Fae Conway of Wimberley, Texas; brother, David E. Conway and wife, Cherie of Wimberley; grandson, Robert Allen Sterk of Dallas; and brother-in-law, Jimmie Washburn of Tuttle, Oklahoma.
Sandra and her family lived in several cities, but she especially loved Little Rock and living by the river. She quickly made friends everywhere she lived.
Her family will greet friends at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock on Sunday, October 26 from 5-7 p.m. The Graveside Service will take place on Tuesday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 3805 W. 12th St., Little Rock, AR 72201, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, 601 Main St., Little Rock, AR 72201 or to Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, AR 72210.
