Sandra Tankersley

Sandra Louise Ridens Tankersley, 63, of Mabelvale, passed away December 11, 2018. She was born on February 2, 1955 to D'Arthur and Wanda Moore Ridens. Sandy was a very loving and caring person. She worked as a nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital in the Neonatal Unit and many other places. Although she had no children of her own she taught and raised many.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wesley "Tank" Tankersley; step-children, Sandi Wright, Holly and Brock Thomas, Clint and Lindsey Tankersley; step-grandson, Bekett Thomas and step-granddaughter, Lakin Tankersley; niece, Jessica Lane Lewallen; nephew Josh Harrell; great-nieces, Chy'Ann Harrell and Avery Grace Lewallen; great-nephews, Josh Harrell, Jr. and Carson Garrett; great-great-nephew, Ju'juan Patterson; and a special friend, Keenan Henry Wells.

Sandy's visitation will be held at Life Line Baptist Church, 7601 Baseline Road, Little Rock, on Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00, officiated by Rev. Jeff Dial. Interment will be Monday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
