Sandra Monaco

Sandra Grace Monaco, 83, of North Little Rock, AR, passed away peacefully on April 25th; she was surrounded by loved ones. Sandra was born on March 18, 1935 to Clarence and Margaret Greeno in Columbus, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, MAJ. Fred G. Monaco, USAF, Ret. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to paint, play the piano, was a Girl Scout Leader, and room mother. She held an Associate's Degree in Business from South Central Career College. Sandra leaves behind her four children: Fred "Rocky" Monaco II (Sandy), Mark Monaco, Susan Columbus (Tony), and Wendy Bush. She was a precious Mimaw to 7 grandkids, Heather Monaco McCrackin (Jeromy), Jennifer Elkins (John), Tony (Meagan), Taylor, and Erin Columbus, Rebecca and Jessica Monaco. She had 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marty Kopke (Jim) of Mesa, AZ.

Rosary will be held at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 1 at The North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 N. Main St. with visitation to follow from 6:00-8:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10:30 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7000 JFK Blvd, with Internment to follow at The Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to NLR Animal Shelter or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
