Sandra Kay McConnell, 62, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010. She was born April 17, 1948 in Cleveland, Texas to Henry and Marie Littleton Dedman. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, of 46 years, Richard E. McConnell; daughter, Sherry Potter; son, Richard McConnell all of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Shaine and Cecily; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Amy, Justin and Sammie; brothers, James Watkins, of Fort Worth, Texas, Kenneth Watkins, of Appleton and Bobby Watkins, of Calendonia, Wisconsin and sister, Shirlie Gray, of Russellville. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dean Dedman and Bill Watkins; sisters, Judy Lockette and Jean Stane; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
