Sandra Lee Kirkpatrick

Sandra Lee Kirkpatrick, age 59, of Glenwood, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011. She was born on April 11, 1952 at DeQueen, the daughter of Melvin Lee Swan and Joyce Ozella French Swan. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a former cook for the Glenwood Elementary School cafeteria and held many types of jobs in the past, including a florist. A member of the Glenwood First Baptist Church, Sandy strived to be a living testimony to her faith. She enjoyed baking cookies for the Oak Park Retirement Center and always gave a helping hand to serve others. She loved her family and was a friend to everyone. She is survived by her sister, Linda Noles of Glenwood; her uncle, Leon French of Malvern; and many cousins. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 23, 2011 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin French, Ricky French, James McDonald, Eric Jenkins, Tim Cogburn and Johnny Wilson.
