Sandra Blenden

Sandra Gay Blenden, 52, made her transition to her Heavenly home on December 11, 2023. She was born on December 30, 1970, to Judith Sparks Blenden and Bill Blenden. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Judy. 

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Bethany Grace; her father and stepmother, Bill and Carolyn Blenden; siblings, Debbie Cothran  Greg) of Sherwood, Pam Gunter (Craig) of Little Rock, and Chris Blenden of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.

After graduating from J.A. Fair High School and then attending ASU to study journalism, Sandy obtained her Medical Transcription and Coding Certification from Baptist Medical Systems in 1992 and enjoyed many years in this career.

Sandra, who was affectionately known as Sandy, Sanje, or SanSan, took the most pride in her role as Mommy to her Bethany Grace, whom she loved dearly and loved spending time with. She enjoyed gardening, camping, art, writing, and spending time with family and friends. 

She is deeply loved and missed by her family, but we know she is no longer suffering. We look forward to when we can see her again.
