Samuel Byron Warren went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2009. He was born on August 11, 1923 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Samuel and Lela Warren. Mr. Warren graduated from Lakeside High School in 1941 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from St. Louis University. He was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran. Mr. Warren was employed as an accountant by Alcoa Aluminum Corporation from 1952-1986.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucilla Warren and two daughters, Linda Cuchia and Elizabeth Warren. Survivors include two sons, David George Warren and John Paul Warren, and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 13 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 14 at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, 1003 N. Tyler St., Little Rock at 12:00 Noon, officiated by Reverend Norbert Rappold, Reverend Mike Sinkler, Deacon John Duke and Deacon Larry Jegley. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. The family requests that memorials be made to the Msgr. Allen Trust Fund, 1003 North Tyler Street, Little Rock, AR 72205.
