Samuel Robinson, Jr., 64, a U.S. Army Veteran, passed away August 11, 2018. Samuel (Pete) served in the United States Army, A Co 39th Engineer Battalion as a Combat Engineer. He received the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Sharpshooter Badge, Hand Grenade and Sharpshooter Badge, M-16 Rifle.
He is survived by his Arkansas sister, Wilma Lesia Tayes-Greene (Alvin, Sr.) of Searcy, his Missouri sister, Norzora Barbara Brock (Sidney, Sr.) of St. Louis, his South Carolina sister, Geneva Geraldine Rockwell of Inman, his Best Friend, Noodles (Noot), Special Friend, Mr. Christopher (Chris) of Little Rock, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Wilma Viola Williams and Wilbert Robert Tayes, grandparents, aunts, uncles, sister, Cynthia, brothers, Wilbert and Samuel I, and stepfather, Samuel Robinson, Sr.
Samuel lived a joyous life and is now with Jesus Christ. We would like to thank all in our celebrations of his Homegoing. Peace be with you, Samuel, fly high with adventures and new beginnings...Spread your wings and Shine. We love you.
