Sammy Dale Roberson, 57, of Bauxite died on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 peacefully with his family surrounding him. Sammy was born August 25, 1958 to the late William and Macie (McElhaney) Roberson in Meridian, Mississippi.
Sammy is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of twenty-four years, Shelia (Robinson) Roberson. He is survived by his five daughters: Samantha Warren and husband Phillip of Meridian, MS, Kellie Wyllia and husband Brandon of Alexander, Arkansas, Angela Kirk and husband Michael of Crystal Springs, MS, Sammie Jo Kincaid and husband Daniel of Alexander, AR, and Hannah Roberson of Bauxite, AR; ten grandchildren; three brothers: William Roberson and wife Jan of Philadelphia, MS, Ricky Roberson and wife Lynn of Meridian, MS, and Randy Roberson and partner Glen Rhodes of Meridian, MS; and one sister, Brenda Hurtman and husband John of Louisville, MS.
Reception visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR 72015. Funeral service, with Pastor Tommy Weems officiating, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 18, 2016 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Burial will take place in a private family service in Toomsuba, Mississippi.
