Sammie was an artist. She did dry-brush watercolor paintings. She had a private art show at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens Cafe. She liked to travel all over the USA and enjoyed trips to Europe.

Sammie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Bob, who stood by her side throughout their journey. They shared a bond that was unbreakable, filled with unwavering support and deep affection. Sammie is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Jane Carter and Gloria Suitt; brother-in-law, Bill Suitt; nephews, Donavan Suitt and Jeff Cater; and numerous members of the Allen and Orlicek families.
