Sally Jo Ann Newby

Sadly, Sally Newby lost her battle with cancer on July 31, 2024. After a brave fight, Sally passed peacefully in her sleep Wednesday.

Sally touched many hearts on her journey and all will feel the loss with her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Del Pietro, her brother Charles Huggins, and her loving husband Larry who she missed with all her heart until Wednesday, when she went to be with him again.

She is survived by her three sons and their families. Along with a host of friends both new and old who were always in her heart.

Of all the things in Sally’s life, the thing she wanted most was to be a grandmother. She had a wonderful grandmother and always wanted to be an amazing grandmother herself. Not only was she blessed with five grandchildren, but lived long enough to be a great-grandmother with three great-grandchildren. Which brought her endless joy.
