Sally Chaput

It is with joyful hearts that we announce that Sally Chaput has her mansion on the streets of gold! We made sure her tennis shoes were tied tight on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 5:46pm, as she ran into those pearly gates to find her momma, daddy, sister, and so many others.

We would say into the arms of Jesus, but he has always been with her, never leaving or forsaking her. All the way to the end, she was so happy to get to heaven. Claiming each and every battle a blessing, even the last and final one. She never put down her spiritual armor. She was a life well lived for Christ. Always serving others and always ready to share who Jesus was to her. She faced every challenge with prayer and thanksgiving, and then fasting if she needed to add to her spiritual armory. Oh to have an ounce of faith like momma! Best momma on the planet, and there is honestly no other way to describe her Grandma life other than to her "Grandma life was the best life"!!!! She loved her family and friends with every ounce of her being. She was the hardest worker you'll ever meet; part superhero and part caffeine. Easily referred to as the "no quit queen". But more than anything that could ever be described here she would want you to know her favorite subject; Jesus! Love Him and Know Him! So as she would say, "rejoice and be glad in it".

Sally is survived by her cherished children, Bobbie (John) Schroeder, Matthew (Brooke) Chaput, and Jacqueline Godwin. Her grandchildren, Jolee, Braxton, Johnny, Ace, Lindsey, Mattylin, Malachi, Matthew II, and Andrew; Her Brothers, Michael Rotalsky, Ted Rotalsky, and John Rotalsky III, along with her sisters, Tullie Clark and Tanna Butler, share in the fond memories of a loving sister who always made time for her family.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, John Rotalsky and Marie Rotalsky; she was also reunited with her beloved siblings, Jonnette Smith, Jonathan Rotalsky, and Ruby Oden, as well as her precious granddaughter, Katie Leanne.

Sally Chaput's memory will live on in the endless stories shared and the love woven into the fabric of her family. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit remains in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She has already had a Home Going celebration when she entered those gates so this gathering will be her graveside After Party! Please join us on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 2:37PM at Cunningham Cemetery in Royal, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Bobbie Schroeder, John Schroeder, Matthew Chaput, Malachi Chaput,  Andrew Godwin, Jolee Schroeder and Braxton Schroeder. In lieu of flowers feel free to bless someone with a bible in her honor.
